Palm Sunday Concert

Invitation by the Llewellyn Choir

The program will feature the Canberra Premiere of Howard Goodall's Invictus: A Passion, plus Georg Telemann's Hosanna to the Son of David. Howard Goodall is best known for his TV theme music and musicals including The Hired Man, Love Story and Enchanted Voices. The 1875 poem Invictus (Unconquered) by William Henley is the inspiration behind this major work.

Conducted by Rowan Harvey-Martin, the choir will be accompanied by the Llewellyn Sinfonia and soloists Sarah Mann, Alliana McKenzie (soprano), Charles Hudson (tenor)and Michael Wilson (baritone).
