Tuesday Forums - 2021 Wrap Up

Twenty four Tuesday Forums were held in 2021 and in response to COVID the majority were via Zoom. Total attendance exceeded 2000 members.

Most popular were those covering environmental matters & current affairs, particularly of an international nature. Much positive feedback received, of which the following was a typical comment: They were a godsend during lockdown with so many interesting & well informed speakers. Look forward to next year!

Feedback also demonstrated a very strong preference for the Zoom format based on its convenience, improved listening experience, etc. The main reason for attending a Forum was "intellectual stimulation".

Forums will re-commence in early May 2022, the majority being via Zoom, with a monthly "hybrid" Forum (face to face and Zoom) with the possibility of some lead-in forums around issues for the upcoming Federal election.

Watch out for the call early in 2022 for additional volunteers to assist in such areas as approaching potential speakers, assisting with Zoom, registration, etc!
